Expansion of the Silesian Center for Heart Diseases in Zabrze (module C), establishment of a national clinical and scientific center for lung and heart transplantation and treatment of cystic fibrosis in children. As part of the project, the hospital was extended by a four-story module C, connected on the third floor with building B. In the new space, activities were developed, among others. operating theater, intensive care unit, transplantation unit, cardiosurgery unit, blood bank and transfusion serology laboratory, computed tomography laboratory, laboratory for invasive diagnostics and treatment of lung diseases, central sterilization. The usable area is about 8.500 m2.
