Modern, award-winning, and now also historic.
The ZETO building, as it is referred to, which was designed by architects from Miastoprojekt Wrocław, has been entered in the Register of Cultural Property.
Designed by Anna and Jerzy Tarnawski, designers affiliated with Miastoprojekt Wrocław, the ZETO (The Eletronic Computing Technique Plant) building in Wrocław, by a decision of the Lower Silesian Provincial Conservator of Monuments, was entered in the register of monuments in 2022.
Designed in 1965, it was one of the most modern buildings of its time in Poland. Of interest - ZETO was among the first in Poland to be equipped with air conditioning!
In 1970 Anna and Jerzy Tarnawski were awarded the Wroclaw Prize in Architecture, and a year later the ZETO building won the annual plebiscite of the Słowo Polskie daily "For the best public building".
Now history has come full circle.
